Certificate of Analysis Policy

Vertex BioLabs is committed to transparency and traceability for the research products it offers.

A Certificate of Analysis, commonly called a COA, is a document associated with a particular product batch or lot. When available, it may report testing information such as identity, purity, composition, test date, analytical method, and laboratory information.

COAs are batch-specific. Customers should compare the following information when reviewing documentation:

• •Product name
• •Batch or lot number
• •Test date
• •Report number
• •Sample description
• •Analytical method
• •Reported result
• •Testing laboratory

A COA for one batch must not be assumed to describe a different batch.

When a COA is available, customers may access it through one or more of the following:

• •The applicable product page
• •A QR code or batch number on the product label
• •The customer's order history
• •A request sent to orders@vertexbiolabs.com

When third-party testing is used, the testing laboratory is identified and the original report is provided without altering reported results.

Reports may be resized or formatted for display, but the underlying analytical results, dates, batch numbers, laboratory identity, and conclusions remain unchanged.

A COA reports the findings associated with the submitted sample and stated analytical method. It does not establish:

• •FDA approval
• •Suitability for human or animal use
• •Clinical safety
• •Therapeutic effectiveness
• •Sterility, unless sterility was specifically tested and reported
• •Endotoxin status, unless specifically tested and reported
• •Suitability for any customer's particular experiment
• •Compliance with every law or institutional requirement

Customers are responsible for reviewing the batch number and available documentation before beginning research.

Questions or suspected discrepancies should be reported promptly to orders@vertexbiolabs.com. Include:

• •Order number
• •Product name
• •Batch or lot number
• •Description of the concern
• •Photographs when relevant

Vertex BioLabs maintains a secure internal record of COAs by product and batch. Batch reports are not deleted merely because inventory from that batch is no longer available, and archived COAs remain available for prior customers whenever reasonably possible.
